A0. Four distinct products (do not conflate)

  • Kayou NARUTO Smriti (collect-only, North America English from Fall 2025).
  • Cicaboom NARUTO Mythos TCG (playable, Europe/UK/Turkey/MENA 13 March 2026; North America being finalized).
  • Bandai NARUTO CARD GAME (announced 18 June 2026, Gen Con 2026 debut, worldwide release 2027; rules partially known, price not announced).

1. How to play

Kayou Naruto (collect-only)

  • No game rules, no tournaments; collectible only. gamertagmythras comparison
  • Collecting is driven by rarity chasing and print treatments (ukiyo-e, stained-glass, holographic). Same source.
  • Rarity ladder is rebuilt per set; there is no universal ladder. Heaven Scroll Series 1 has 10 tiers over 158 cards: SE 4, SP 4, BP 7, MR 6, PU 8, PTR 20, UR 15, SSR 24, SR 20, R 50. Notably SSR sits BELOW UR. Kayou explained
  • Pack configs: Heaven Scroll 8 cards/pack, 24 packs/box; Earth Scroll Series 2 7 cards/pack, 20 packs/box. [search summary of retailer pages, see sources]

Bandai NARUTO CARD GAME (announced)

  • Win: reduce opponent Leader's Life to zero. Leader Life 15 on sample cards. comparison article
  • Deck: Leader + 51-card deck + 5 Chakra cards + 1 Summon card. Card types: Leader, Character, EX Character, Chakra, Summon. Multiple colors (count unspecified). Same source (single secondary source; full rulebook pending).
  • Described as strategy-focused, competitive; tutorials at Gen Con 2026. ICv2
  • Release: worldwide 2027 (comparison article says Summer 2027, simultaneous). Details were due 29 July 2026 (per search summary of AnimeClick/other); not confirmed beyond that.

Old Bandai Naruto CCG (context)

  • Released 2006, ended 2013 (ICv2 says about seven years; another summary says "almost a decade" - minor conflict). ICv2

2. Languages available

  • Kayou Smriti: English NA edition confirmed; Chinese (simplified) original Kayou cards sold on eBay (e.g., NRSS-SE-001/002 S-Chinese listing). Other languages NOT VERIFIED.
  • Mythos: English edition confirmed (retail listings "EN Naruto Mythos TCG"); other languages NOT VERIFIED.
  • Bandai Naruto Card Game: "worldwide" release 2027; language list NOT VERIFIED.

4. Rarity tiers and market prices

  • Kayou tiers vary per set (see section 1). Other series cited: SE (highest in some sets), BP, UR, SSR, SR, R; Ninja Age has SSR Battle Dual, UR Ninja Profile, PTR Chronicle, SP Cloud Motif.
  • Observed: Kayou SE singles typically around $29.90 [LISTING, eBay summary]; a Gaara SE (Series 2 Jin Chapter, English) listed around $300 [LISTING, eBay, asking price not sold]; low-end singles from $3.59. Per-tier price ranges: NOT VERIFIED.
  • Mythos and Bandai tier prices: NOT VERIFIED.

5. How players and collectors use it

  • Kayou: pack opening (e.g., Graphic Policy opening article), single buying on eBay, authorized retailers (Target, Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, Barnes & Noble, TikTok Shop). Apps: Multiverse (reading open, posting needs free account) named by Kayou guide.
  • Mythos: Store/Regional Championships (June-July 2026). Apps for deck building: NOT VERIFIED.

6. Community behavior

  • Counterfeits are a known problem (Kayou authenticity page exists). Discord community named by the guide. Specific Reddit/scalping evidence: not found. NA English releases reportedly command premium (accio.com aggregator, low reliability).

7. Company strategy

  • Bandai: ICv2 frames Naruto as part of reviving dormant IPs for English audiences, like Gundam and Digimon. Gen Con 2026 debut then global 2027 launch.
  • Kayou: mainstream NA retail push from Fall 2025. Mythos: Cicaboom distribution via Breakflip/Zvezdar in Europe with organized play.
